We left NYC on Friday night and stopped off at the Bird's Nest (Alex and Beth) beautiful beach house in Milford, CT.

Owen enjoyed a waterfront dinner on Alex and Beth's deck, and he amazed Mom and Dad with a decision to serve himself...
On Saturday, we went to Belmont to spend the weekend with Papa and Finley... Papa offered to babysit Finley by himself overnight while Katy and Kit went to a wedding. Needless to say, that trip deserves its own blog... so we invite you to read about that 24 hour adventure on the next post...
On Monday, we visited with Lawson and Sage. Sage is an adorable 20 month old who has more energy than 10 energizer bunnies combined. She was enamoured with Owen and loved giving him hugs and kisses.
On Tuesday, we spent the afternoon with Jojo and baby Eve in Beacon Hill. Mom missed her old neighborhood and snapped a quick pic with Owen on Joy St. Unfortunately, we didn't get to take a picture with Eve, but she is one cutie pie with a full head of redhair!
On Wednesday, we hung out with B, Lauren and Alex (Ty had gone off to sailing camp). Alex showed off his amazing tricycling skills and jetted all over the streets of Boston in his Ramones t-shirt and California surfer shorts. As he told Uncle B last week while listening to Led Zepplin, he really likes "man music", but he could care less about Mom's "girl music".
On Wednesday night, we went to see Owen's favorite person of all... Dad. He flew in from NYC to spend the rest of the week with us... we'll update the blog again with stories from this morning's 2nd Annual Red Acres July 4th parade. A sight not to be missed!
