1st visit to Grammy and Papa's new home!

We have been counting down the days until we could all visit Grammy and Papa's new house, so we were so happy that we could coordinate a weekend to visit with Katy and her kids, Stevie and Kristen, and Nana.

Owen and Finley were quick to explore, but first things first, checking in on the wine (or as Papa would say, their inheritance)...

After running through all of the rooms, we headed to the Village Green at Pine Hills for a picnic with Grammy and Betsey Hughes:

Finally... Grammy taking a few minutes to relax and enjoy her new neighborhood!

Like mother like daughter... even a picnic calls for Finley's lipstick...

Finishing the day with a swim in Grammy's jacuzzi that she has been dreaming about for 30 years...

What we didn't capture on film were the events of the 3 hours after these pictures were taken... 1 leaky tub, 1 broken elevator, 1 toddler projectile vomiting, 1 infant with a high fever, and 1 gourmet dinner that never got made... breaking in a new house in a way only your own family can so you can begin to call it "home"... all that Grammy and Papa wished for.
