Putting up the tree

Last weekend, we put up our Christmas tree. This is the first year that Owen is beginning to understand what Christmas is all about, so it was especially fun to decorate the tree with him.

To get us in the Christmas spirit, Jack and Owen sang Christmas songs...

As you'll see in thie video, Owen took to decorating right away and wanted to put the ornaments up himself. After we took the video, he went back to put more ornaments on the same branch, and I asked him why he liked putting all of the ornaments on that one branch... he said, "because Mom, then they're with their friends". Adorable.
