1 month old!

Today Owen is 1 month old! It's hard to believe the first month has already gone by... though when we count the number of feedings, diapers, and burp cloths that have accumulated since April 7th, 30 days seems about right!

We went to the doctor's yesterday for his 1 month check-up, and we were thrilled to hear that he seems to be one very healthy, happy baby. He's now 10 pounds, 1 ounce, and he grew 1 1/2 inches (now 22.5 inches). Although his height and weight are just above average, we remain convinced that he has the largest hands of any baby in Manhattan!

We've been a bit slow in writing about our events over the past two weeks which have been filled with visits from family and friends. We tried to take pictures with everyone that visited, but unfortunately, we missed ones with Liz and Annabel, and Christina and Alok. Here are a few of the pictures that we did manange to take:

Harlan and Brian came over for brunch and heard a bit about the ups and downs of our first few weeks... their baby is due in July!

Later that day, the Masucci's also stopped by to meet Owen Then Grammy, Katy and Finley came down to New York for 2 days... Finley quickly asserted heself as the older, wiser cousin and marked her turf by taking over Owen's coveted swing.

Nana Ranere and Marianne also stopped by our apartment last week on their drive up to Boston... Nana gave us some great advice from her years of parenting 4 kids, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren!After all the visitors, Owen was pretty tired and slept like a baby (or so we're told that's what they do).Here's a few other pictures of the little guy from the last 2 weeks... enjoy!
