...and you smell like one too!

Suey's birthday was on Saturday, and Team Norris packed up the family truckster to celebrate in a way befitting Mom -- a trip to Cape Cod.

In the dead of winter Mom had lobbied hard for us to rent a place on the Cape for 3 weeks. Dad was in no position to negotiate with the impending arrival of Little O. And like many things in life, he accepted Mom's position as his own. Well, the day had finally arrive...I'm sure it was only coincidence that our rental started on 8/9...

We arrived, after 6 hours of traffic filled driving, in the late afternoon. His first time on the Cape, Owen was fired up. Can't wait for his reaction to his first pop warner football game...

Later, we all got dressed up and hit the town for a celebratory dinner. Unfortunately for Little O, he was on his own -- there was nothing Dad could do on Mom's birthday to save him -- and he had to wear his whale outfit. While even Dad will admit he looked pretty cute, this is the kind of thing that embarasses people later in life. For the record, son, Dad did not endorse this.
