Hello Grammy and Papa... Good-bye swaddle

After a long stay in Italy, Grammy and Papa finally returned home! The last time they saw Little O was in late June... Owen greeted Grammy with lots of giggles and greeted Papa with his customary spit-up. It was so great to see them, and we made them promise not to leave for 6 weeks again!

We also got to see many friends and family on this trip... we had a few quick hugs and kisses with Grandpa John and Aunt Libby, we had dinner with Nana, we met Alexis, Roxie and Madeline for lunch, we congratulated Uncle Stevie on finishing the MA bar exam, and we met the Tryon's for the day on Saturday.

But we think the most eventful moment of the past few days may have been ditching Owen's swaddle.... yes, after becoming Miracle Blanket evangelists, we decided to say good-bye to our trusted and loyal companion. The days and nights of Owen wrapped up like a burrito are long gone... we wish the sleepness nights were long gone too, but looks like Owen isn't quite ready to turn the page on those yet. Oh well, we'll get there someday...
