My name is Owen, and I'm Mrs. Norris' favorite grandson. You haven't met me yet, but you'll be hearing from me a lot this year!
I hope you had a fun summer. I had a great time with my Grandma... she came and visited me 3 times in New York City, and she just spent a week with me on Cape Cod! We had so much fun... she taught me how to roll over, how to use my jolly jumper, and she's still trying to teach me how to say "grandma"! I hope to do that pretty soon!
I hope you had a great first day back at school! You guys are pretty lucky to have my grandmother as your teacher... I think she's the best!

Owen! You are an Angel! Can't wait until the new Sixth Graders meet you on Wednesday--all of your Cape pictures are posted in my room and on my door, and I was able to update about 150 of your teacher-fans at the District meeting this morning! Last year's kids have been asking me about you. Can't wait until they see the blog! Love you too much, Grandma
Owen, I knew you'd be writing before long, you little smarty-pants! Not surprising when you have the best teacher in the world as a grandma.
You are so precious and I miss you a ton! I keep thinking about how you were crying the last night we were with you on the Cape (who wouldn't cry knowing your godmother was leaving...?) and would only stop when I sang you made-up songs with your own name in them. And when I called you on it, you smiled that brilliant smile as if you knew just what you were doing!
I sang them so many times that they are stuck in my head now. I keep finding myself singing about you to the tune of random songs!
Love to you and your parents. Hope you finished out your time at the beach with lots of family fun.
