Aunt Patty took a break from her hectic schedule at National Geographic, despite having to present to the Governor of Maryland on Monday, to see her godson. Owen had a blast and was very appreciative of his GM traveling all the way from DC to NYC to see him.
Unfortunately, Curtis' schedule didn't allow him to make it, so we only have a couple of amateur photos to document her trip...

The weekend was full of firsts for Owen including seltzer water, oranges and -- most notably -- sleeping 12 hours straight! Aunt Patty has proven herself to be a good luck charm and we've extended an open invite for her to visit anytime!

I had such a great time. It truly was an O-asis from all the work stress back in DC, even when some of that pesky governor presentation stuff tried to break in. And I think O was my lucky charm for the presentation. It went really well and Governor O'Malley is endorsing the project. Can I have O for all my presentation preps?
