In a rare event, Grammy managed to seize control over the kitchen from Papa and cooked a fabulously delicious meal. While Owen peacefully napped, we enjoyed turkey, stuffing, vegetables and a Port from 1977... once Owen woke up, chaos resumed, and we battled turkey comas while taking turns entertaining Owen. One of his favorite games was chasing Maisey around the kitchen, trying to feed her pieces of turkey, sometimes kneeling down to get eye-to-eye with her to tell her just how good it tasted.
Tomorrow we will head down to Hanson to have Thanksgiving Part 2 with the Norris clan. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their families!
