Grandma & Aunt Mary Take Manhattan

After a fun Christmas break, Owen couldn't bear the thought of being away from Grandma and Mary. To ease the pain of saying goodbye for everyone, we made plans before heading back to NYC for them to visit us over MLK weekend. And the weekend could only have been more fun if they had figured out how to bring Lilly, Georgie and Delilah with them.

Owie showed Grandma, Aunt Mary and Aunt Kristen his favorite hiding spot...

And hung out with Aunt Mary on the couch and watched the Wiggles...


And went to the park with Grandma and Dad...


The grownups also managed to sneak out on Saturday night and enjoy a little adult time. While I wasn't sure what to expect from Red Acres Kate hitting the bars and restaurants of SoHo, she was definitely in her element. Must be all those episodes of Sex In the City...







On Sunday morning, there was definitely a lot of fog in the tower for the grownups after a big night of overindulgence. Owen, sensing our weakness, decided it would be funny to wake up at 6:45am...Ouch! Despite the pain of Sunday morning, we all had so much fun. We're already resting up for their next visit!
