We tried to spoil Daddy as best we could... he slept in late and was welcomed by a homemade breakfast from Owen and me. Since Owen has become obsessed with cooking, he insisted on making the blueberry muffins with me... when they were ready, we set the table and hung up Owen's fine art work... I couldn't get a picture to zoom in closely, but if you see the papers hanging on the wall in the picture below, those scribbles are Owen's carefully drawn out images (Daddy, Mommy, Lily, owl and Sadie).
Daddy spent most of the afternoon reading the paper, searching all the Boston Sports articles on the internet, and watching football... and since it was his birthday, I couldn't complain (that fact may have been Jack's favorite present of all). Before the afternoon football game started, we gave Daddy his presents and the cupcakes that we made for him...
Owen's favorite gift that he gave Jack was a card that you can record your voice onto, and it plays every time you open it...
