Grammy and Papa Ranere were there for the whole time, Grandma and Grandpa Norris came down for 4 days, and Katy and Finley were there for the first 2 days... we even had a surprise visit from Auntie Mary which was great!
We took an absurd amount of pictures, and we tried to narrow it down to a few for this blog... that wasn't too successful, so here's more than a few shots from the trip!
We started the trip on March 19th on our JetBlue flight (thank god for the TVs!)
We spent our first day on the beach... Owen and Finley loved it there!
It wasn't all rosy though... at one point, Finley put her finger in Owen's mouth, and like everything else that goes in there, he bit it... the next 3 pictures capture the moment:
Luckily, Finley got over it quickly and they were both back to having fun...
That night, we all went to dinner... Finley sat across from her favorite Uncle Jack and gave him flirty eyes and smiles all night.
The next day, Grandpa, Grandma and Mary arrived to town, and we celebrated with a fantastic night out.
For Grandma and Grandpa's last day, we spent the afternoon at the beach and ate an early dinner so we could catch the sunset.
We learned that Owen likes limes as much as lemons...
After dinner, we headed back to the beach to watch the sunset.
While watching the sunset, we made some new friends from Australia who were sitting on the beach, playing guitar... Owen loved the music and sat there doing his trademark move... swaying his head from side to side in rhythm with the music (well, a loose rhythm anyway).
Later in the week, we took a boat ride with the Najarian's and Messina's over to Marco Island... Owen made a good first mate!
Grammy loved holding Owen in the breeze... and Dad loved holding him while he snoozed.
We also spent lots of time at the pool... Owen splashed up a storm!
After so much fun in the sun, we were sad to return home on Monday... Owen definitely wondered where all the warm weather went!
